What is a common place book? *A [commonplace book](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commonplace_book) is a centralized repository for ideas, quotes, anecdotes and observations gather from external sources” — [“an autobiography of the mind”](https://ryanholiday.net/how-and-why-to-keep-a-commonplace-book/) used to organize external knowledge for inspiration or learning.* I’ve been keeping my own commonplace book since grad school. I’m now trying to open it up publicly — cause sharing is caring. I currently use [Obsidian](https://obsidian.md) but in the process of transitioning from [SimpleNote](https://simplenote.com/) so bear with me as I transition and retroactively clean up formatting and scrub for sensitive content in older notes. ## Appreciate this?
